well, i'm officially back....i had 40+ e-mails.....and mail and messages all waiting for me (and a boyfriend)....i'm finally caught up, i think.
nothing says welcome back like 9-5...lol
i didn't do the greatest in the competition, but i guess it's a learning experience, right. that's what people who don't want to hurt my feelings tell me. but hey, next year i can't do much worse...lol....
we were constantly on the go, it was crazy. i feel like i didn't have much time to slow down and just think about where i was and what i was doing... when i look back on this month i just feel like i have a big gaping hole about a week and a half long with some random memories, cause when i have been just reminded about the days before i left, it feels like yesterday. (hopefully this next vacation to sugarloaf will feel more relaxed and more like a vacation)
although all i did was bowl, eat, ride the interstate, and sleep, i did have some fun times.........
we did cosmic bowling the first saturday there where the lanes looked like they were covered in snow and the fog machines went crazy so we could barely see (it was awesome, and kinda stinky); sunday night we went to the zoo for opening ceremonies. the food wasn't the greatest but o well. we saw a dolphin show special for the junior gold people, it was awesome. the only thing that really sucked was that we were there until 10pm and the people started putting away the animals at 730...so by the time we headed to the last area (around 9) we were wondering where the animals were cause we had only seen a few birds instead of lions, giraffes, and other things that live in the plains. although we didn't see those, we saw some pretty cool animals and had fun hanging out together...; i had some fun nights in the pool (which was warmer than ur average pool, but pretty much perfect) playing a giant game of marco polo, pass, chicken, playing with the life guard "toys" and playing with a punching bag balloon....that was awesome; we went to hooters (4 females and 1 male...lol) for all u can wings....that was fun, kinda...lol; erica and i hung out with the guys and two of the girls in josh corum's room, and watched a "street fight" break out between josh and ryan gary (i think, or maybe cruise). it turned into a thing between those two and cruise and joe colcord. and some of them brought out belts...it was kinda funny, and i almost got hit. then two more guys came up and we all went outside. then, cruise and ryan had a serious belt fight in the hotel parking lot. ryan got pretty creepy. cruise was bleeding and bruised and in some pain, which included a whip to the balls...lol, while u couldn't see much of anything on ryan...eventful.....; then on the last regular day the rollins' and philip provincher and i played three games of laser tag, and boy was that tough. we were all drenched with sweat after the first game, let alone three. it was a blast, and quite a workout...; then there was the closing ceremonies that night...that was pretty cool. there were two blow up mazes similar to the one at project sunrise. one was less fun, and one was more fun, but they both kinda sucked cause i was wearing a skirt...lol (i did them anyway)....my knees hated those mazes cause now i have some major floor burns from them that r going to suck to have to shave around, o well, it was fun; we also went to the indiana speedway, which probably would have been more exciting if i was a race fan... we took a bus tour around the inside of the track and went in the gift shop and in the museum...it was kinda kewl, but crunched our time for the day and, once again, probably would have been better if i was a race fan....*george* hehe..........
anyway, all of that was fun, but it was crammed around a tight schedule, but o well.....i had a blast and can't wait to do it next year in FLORIDA!!!!!
